5km from home
Lockdown – staying within 5km from home. A big ask on all of us but
some more so than others.
Just kept reminding ourselves of how lucky we are to live where we do. We are between the River Liffey, Blessington Lake and the foothills of the Wicklow National Park. Seriously blessed with beautiful scenery around us. We have walked every highway and byway – up hills, forest paths, lakeside rambles in the vicinity. Definitely took the time to admire our natural environment – mountains and valleys, granite, flora and fauna, sun rises, sunsets, and yes being inspired by nature. Living in the Garden of Ireland is inspirational on a daily basis. So rather than too much typing – a few photos explains a l ot….
So this is home for our business, our wooden house in the garden which holds our Ace Robotics Lawncare office under a watery sky with the sun peeking into the valley
Russeltown at the end of Blessington Greenway, 8am on a Sunday morning. Up early to enjoy the fresh March morning air.
Highly recommend this Blessington greenway 5km from Blessington to Russeltown and you can walk or cycle i t – lovely lakeside views along the route
The mist just lying in the valley
The river Liffey flowing at speed after a day of rain under Ballysmutton Bridg
And then a few images of the local farming, great views over Blessington Lake.
And last but not least, we have been watching these daffodils coming up for weeks. We planted extra bulbs of daffodils, snowdrops, crocuses and tulips last Autumn and are delighted to see them blooming this spring. We continue to be inspired by nature and our surroundings.
